More songs have been announced at the German Game Convention for the Video Game "Rock Band"

Ten more songs have been announced at the GC for the video game "Rock Band."  The basis of the game is like Guitar Hero, but instead of just playing guitar, there is a person on each instrument, including guitar, bass, drums and karoake style vocals.  The game is coming out for the PS3, XBOX 360, Wii, and the PS2.

The new tracks that were announced were:

Deep Purple - Highway Star

Faith No More - Epic

Jet - Are You Gonna Be My Girl

OK Go! - Here It Goes Again

Radiohead - Creep

Nine Inch Nails - The Hand That Feeds

Smashing Pumpkins - Cherub Rock

Beastie Boys - Sabotage

The Clash - Should I Stay Or Should I Go

Previously announced songs are:

Blue Oyster Cult- Don't Fear The Reaper

The Who - Won't Get Fooled Again

David Bowie - Suffragette City

Black Sabbath - Paranoid

The Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop

Mountain - Mississippi Queen

Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead Or Alive

Rush - Tom Sawyer

Nirvana - In Bloom

Stone Temple Pilots - Vasoline

Weezer - Say It Ain't So

The Hives - Main Offender

The Strokes - Reptilla

Queens of the Stone Age - Go With The Flow

Foo Fighters - Learn To Fly

Metallica - Enter Sandman

Now I'm sure this isn't the complete list yet, as there is a video on YouTube of the video game being demonstrated with the song "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N Roses, so keep your ears open!  More songs will probably be announced.

Here's a video of Rock band being played as posted on YouTube:
